Sunday, December 01, 2024

11:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Unit 1 Britannia Estates

Britannia Estates, Leagrave Road, Luton, UK

Safer in the Lines: Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is an audio-digital project that explores the impact of anti-social behaviour on women across Luton, Dunstable & Bedford.

Are you a woman over the age of 16?

Has anti-social behaviour impacted the way you walk through your neighbourhood?

Do you get frustrated seeing litter in the parks, fly tipping, graffiti, fireworks, gangs and nuisance noise?

Would you like more peace of mind in the places you call home?

Join us for weekly creative writing and listening workshops led by award-winning producers and writers Shemiza Rashid and Johanne Hudson-Lett, with invited guest speakers. Take walks across your local area, share your stories on how anti-social behaviour has impacted you, and see your thoughts turned into an audio digital exhibition.

The workshops will take place in Luton on the following dates:

Sunday 1st of December 2024 from 11-1pm

Sunday 8th of December 2024 from 11-1pm

Sunday 15th of December 2024 from 11-1pm

The workshops will take place at:
